Yesterday the world was taken aback by photos of a very unlikely partnership: Chris Lilley in full Lunatics character walking down a New York City street with the Jonas Brothers.
It was certainly a sight to be seen and thankfully for Lilley's Instagram, we were able to see what was happening on the surface.
But there was one thing missing: the why.

People questioned maybe there was going to be more Lunactics content starring the revived boy band or maybe Lilley's character, Keith Dick, was providing some ambushed, unsolicited fashion advice to Nick, Joe and Kevin.
However, we've finally been given a backstage pass to all the happenings of this weird encounter.
According to Lilley's Instagram, Keith Dick has been blessed with the opportunity to dress the famous trio for their upcoming tour after their album dropped.
"Keith Dick styles The Jonas Brothers for their Happiness Begins Tour," Lilley wrote on Instagram.

Pretty big deal.
It's hard to tell if this is still a pisstake or whether the Jonas Brothers will actually step on stage in these interesting clothes. We'll go with the former on this one.

Keith Dick in Lilley's new Netflix show is described as 'a department store veteran who inherits a ladies fashion store while struggling with his objective sexuality and deep love for a cash register'.
So clearly he knows a thing or two about fashion and what the kids are all wearing these days.
If this Dick x Jonas collaboration was real then they were definitely getting the right person for the job.
Judging from some of the brother's looks on their faces it's difficult to know whether they're hating the whole experience or if they're absolutely loving it.
