Conor McGregor Puts Rita Ora Rumours To Rest With Instagram Post

Looks like Conor McGregor has finally put that Rita Ora nonsense of the past week behind him.

Last week McGregor made headlines after Ora posted "date night" photos of the pair together at the British Fashion Awards last week, sparking a shit storm about whether McGregor was playing away.

But now the 29-year-old UFC champion has shown that his childhood sweetheart, Dee Devlin, has nothing to worry about as he shared a snap of the pair with his millions of Instagram followers.

The photo shows the Irish boxer smiling outside a private jet with his arm firmly around Devlin. The post was captioned with the self-explanatory words: "Zoom in" - implying that there's nothing in the rumours whatsoever. No surprise really. Either that or it was a simple instruction guide on how to use Instagram. Cheers, Conor.

Despite the pair being called "disrespectful" due to Ora's pictures, McGregor doesn't look to have been fazed a bit by the scandal, even yelling "Shout out to Rota Ora!" over the mic at Cirque Le Soir the following evening.

Fans were delighted to see that the couple were as strong as ever, with one person commenting: "Boss couple".

Another commenter said: "@deedevlin1 what a lady! McGregor you should count your lucky stars to have a woman like that stand by yourside!"

"His girl stayed with him through the roughest times ... she a keeper", a third added.

Devlin has long been known as the Irish boxer's rock, with McGregor on record as saying he owes his success to her.

That's worthy praise, given that Forbes named McGregor as the world's 24th highest-paid athlete.

Devlin now works as an official member of his team and travels the world with him, managing his finances.

"My girlfriend has been there since the start. She has helped me throughout this career," McGregor told the Irish Mirror.

"If it wasn't for her, I probably wouldn't be where I am today.

"My girlfriend worked very hard throughout the years and stuck by me when I had essentially absolutely nothing. I only had a dream that I was telling her.

"For me to be able to take her out of work, give her everything she's ever wanted and to travel the world with her fills me with pride. It keeps me going."

Well, that's that settled then.
