Dan Bilzerian Claims He Once Won $12.8m From Poker In One Day

Dan Bilzerian may be most known for his lavish lifestyle and wild ways, but in between wooing women and applying for Armenian citizenship, we know that he also manages to find time for the occasional poker game.

The self-declared 'King of Instagram' appeared on an episode of In Depth With Graham Bensinger, where he discussed his experience with high stakes poker games - including one 'real big game'.

Host Graham Bensinger asked the Insta-star what's the most money he's won in a day.

"I think it was like $12.8 million but it was over a period of three games," Bilzerian replied.

"I got playing and then we just left the money on the table, and then played again and left the money on the table.

"It was a pretty crazy one, I'll never forget it."

Bilzerian didn't divulge who his opponent was, but did refer to him as a 'maniac' and a 'billionaire'.

"It was probably one of the most stressful periods of time," he said, adding with laughter: "I think I had a little bit of hair fall out."

Bensinger then asked how the whole thing had made him feel, but Bilzerian said he'd actually had a far worse response to some much smaller losses.

"I remember one time I lost $3.6 million and I wasn't that upset, and then there's been other times when I've lost $50,000 and I've been super pissed."

Many people have accused Bilzerian of inheriting his wealth from his father Paul, including those commenting on the Graham Bensinger YouTube channel.

One wrote: "This guy is such a liar. He got his bankroll from his daddy. This kid is a trust fund baby. Like come on, who u kidding. No 1 in the poker community respects this guy as being a good plyr."

Another said: "Most money I've ever won in a day? The day I was born!!! Thanks daddy!"

But Bilzerian has always denied this, telling Bensinger: "I gave it all back. I gave it to my brother. I didn't need it, didn't want it, didn't care."

He continued: "You have to remove your ego from these situations. For me, I just let people talk shit about my poker and that I was bad and that I had a trust fund because that was very helpful for me to get into these games.

Bilzerian added: "I never cared if people thought that I was good. I never gave a shit how people thought that I got my money. I still don't. I don't give a fuck if they think I got it all from a trust."
