Deadpool Finally Apologises To David Beckham For Paying Out His Voice

In the movie he said the footballer's voice sounded like he 'mouth-sexed a can of helium'

There are so many memorable lines from Deadpool, however one of the short, sharp ones was when Ryan Reynolds' character said that David Beckham's voice sounded like 'he mouth-sexed a can of helium'.

It was right on the money, but Deadpool has decided to apologise.

Wade Wilson sends a few texts but that's clearly not enough - so he rocks up to the footballer's home and tries to make amends in a ton of ways.

Easily the best was standing outside with a bunch of helium filled balloons saying: "Too soon?"

It seems as though nothing was going to mend that broken bridge until Reynolds/Wilson/Deadpool comes back dressed in a Canadian football jersey offering Beckham two tickets to the FIFA World Cup.

Hilariously, when David questions Pool what he's apologising for, Ryan explains that the voice gag was a bit too far and he shouldn't have crossed that line - but this is where the footballer gets his revenge.

When he says he doesn't know what Wilson is talking about, Ryan asks what he should be saying sorry for and Beckham responds: "I mean there's a list: Green Lantern, R.I.P.D., Selfless, Blade Trinity, Boltneck."

Not bad David, not bad at all.

Boltneck was a 1998 film with Reynolds playing 'a goth kid who is a magnet to bullies' who ends up accidentally being bullied to death but comes back to life thanks to a fellow student. Safe to say it was fucking terrible and one of Reynolds' first films.

The video collaboration is just another hype up for the upcoming sequel to Deadpool which is due for release in the UK on May 15 and May 18 in the US.

The 'official synopsis' for the film reads: "After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry's hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste.

"Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavour - finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World's Best Lover."

The first Deadpool was box office hit and was the most successful R-rated movie of all time after raking in $783.1 million (£578 million) worldwide. Clearly, audiences loved the character and it was only a matter of time before a sequel was made.
