Fresh off the back of challenging James Corden to a bare-knuckle fight, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has now started an unlikely Twitter beef with Charlie Simpson from Busted. Weird eh?

The Rock tweeted a teaser for the upcoming Jumanji sequel, due out on 13 December next year, with the caption: "The game is not over... And I get to slap @KevinHart4real's lips into next week. The world is once again VERY happy. #JUMANJI"

Responding to the post, Charlie wrote: "Oh dear...I wonder if it will be the second worst film ever made?" He also tagged in fellow Busted member Matt Willis, who tweeted to say that he was going to give the first Jumanji reboot another watch today.

But the post was spotted by Dwayne, who replied: "Haha I have a fun idea - how bout you watch it with us and tell us your thoughts. Then we listen to your music and we'll tell you ours.

"You know, face to face like real men do instead of yapping on Twitter." oof.

Charlie hasn't responded to The Rock's invite yet, but we can probably safely assume he's regretting getting on the wrong side of him.

Or perhaps not, as one Twitter user pointed out that he and the band are probably secretly chuffed that Dwayne even knows who the band are; I mean, to be fair, he probably just Googled him after seeing the tweet.

Others couldn't quite believe what they were seeing:

I think this might be my favourite celebrity Twitter beef of all time.

Now all we need is for Charlie to respond, come on mate, don't let me down.
