'Game Of Thrones': Emilia Clarke Looks More Like Daenerys Than Ever

'If you squint just so you might never know'

For as long as she's starred in the show, fans of Game of Thrones' Emilia Clarke - or Daenerys, as she's perhaps better known - have been disappointed to discover that her white hair is merely a part of her costume.

She's a brunette in real life (and FYI, she's far from the only character to look different off-camera).

The London-born actress has previously reserved those flowing white locks for on-screen appearances, but a new Instagram post revealed that Clarke has chosen to bring her TV and personal lives closer together...

Fans may choose to read this as a sign of her commitment to the eighth, and final series, of the fantasy drama, which is currently in development.

She wrote in the post: "I done did it. Mother of dragons meet Emilia. Emilia meet mother of dragons. If you squint just so you might never know."

She thanked the show's wig creators, who gave Daenerys her imposing look, for 'making this magical moment a reality'.

With only one series remaining of Game Of Thrones (sadly), many speculate that Daenerys is being primed to become of the show's final antagonists.

In the books she's a 14-year-old girl with three dragons and army. And she's related to a mass murderer (plus, you know, the whole 'incestuous parents' thing).

She crucifies, tortures, and burns, people with the intentions of invading Westeros with an army of outsiders, all just to fulfil her birth right.

But is that what the writers want to portray? The show has, in fairness, been diluting its moral grey areas for a while.

Series eight will have a lot of questions to answer. Are the White Walkers going to annihilate every character we love? Probably.

Is Jon/Aegon going to be pissed off when he finds out he did the nasty with his aunty? Or is that just a classic fan theory? Maybe. But LADbible examined the possibility in great detail - and you can read it all here.
