In case you somehow missed it, the brand spanking new Avengers: Infinity Wars trailer dropped today. If you haven't seen it yet, enjoy:
Now, it's no secret that the movie is going to have one of the most impressive casts pretty much ever, with the president of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige, revealing that almost all of the characters from the studio's 10-year, 18-movie long history set to make an appearance.
The unfathomably long cast-list includes Paul Bettany (Vision), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), Pom Klementieff (Mantis), Karen Gillan (Nebula), Dave Bautista (Drax), Don Cheadle (War Machine), Sebastian Stan (Bucky), Anthony Mackie (Falcon), Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange), Tom Holland (Spider-Man), Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Pratt (Star-Lord), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Vin Diesel (Groot), Bradley Cooper (Rocket), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man) and Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow). Oh, and don't forget Josh Brolin as Thanos.
However, one actor whose name you might not have associated with the Marvel Universe (until now) has also been revealed by the movie's poster - as none other than Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage.
Variety reported that Dinklage was 'in talks' to star in the new movie over a year ago, and it looks as though those talks were successful.
We've no idea what his role will be, but that hasn't stopped fans speculating on social media:
The poster also reveals that British actor Idris Elba is set to star in the movie. I feel like, at this point, it would be easier to just list the actors that won't be in it.
Fans don't have too long to wait to find out who Dinklage and Elba will be playing, though, as the movie premieres on 27 April and is followed by a second installment in May next year.
