Harry Potter's Hermione Granger And Cedric Diggory Were Briefly Reunited At The Golden Globes

Harry Potter's Hermione Granger And Cedric Diggory Were Briefly Reunited At The Golden Globes

Harry Potter fans were over the moon to see Emma Watson and Robert Pattinson reunited on stage at last night's Golden Globes.

The pair wore matching black outfits, alongside most of the other guests, as they presented the Best Limited Series or TV Movie award, which went to Big Little Lies.

But Potter fans didn't care about that; they were just happy to see Hermione Granger and Cedric Diggory, who we last saw on screen together in 2005's Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

Harry Potter fans are a die-hard bunch, and some were not impressed with the stars being addressed by their real names:

See?

Others were just happy to witness the reunion:

But it wasn't just those two. David Thewlis and Gary Oldman were also at the Golden Globes last night. We can only assume they all had a quick catch up and reminisced about spell classes and quidditch.

Poor Cedric only appeared in one of the Potter movies, before he was killed by Wormtail. Life's a bitch, mate.

Still, it was a better future for actor Pattinson. He went on to star in the Twilight movies as a sparkly vampire with his posters on the walls of every teenage girl from 2009 to 2012.

Hermione managed to make it to the end of the franchise, and things have been even more amazing for Watson.

After leaving the Potterverse, Emma went to Brown University where she got a degree in English Literature, starred in a bunch of successful movies, including the live-action version of Beauty and the Beast and the critically acclaimed The Perks of Being Wallflowers, as well as modelling and becoming UN Women Goodwill Ambassador.
