It's always a joy when actors in real life are as fun and as close as the characters they play on TV.
Two who definitely live up to their on-screen alter-egos are Jim Parsons and Kaley Cuoco, aka The Big Bang Theory's Sheldon Cooper and Penny, who sadly lacks a surname.
The two stars of 2016's most-watched primetime television show, which, unsurprisingly, given that statistic, will return for its 11th season towards the end of September, enjoyed a little bit of banter over social media yesterday.
Or rather, Parsons did, after Cuoco posted a picture of herself without a shirt on Instagram.
It was a tasteful and classy photo, but that didn't stop Parsons acting, with tongue firmly in his cheek, like an outraged father.
"Where is your shirt, missy?!?" he commented on his co-star's post, asking the question that her 3.2 million followers were probably also wondering but were too afraid to ask.

More to the point - who took the photo and why didn't they tell her about her missing clothes? At the time of writing, Cuoco has yet to respond to Parsons' question.
Born in 1985, Cuoco's rise to fame has been impressive, with her breakthrough in acting coming in 2002, with the role of Bridget Hennessey in the sitcom 8 Simple Rules.
Despite only lasting three seasons, Cuoco kept busy with roles in other shows, including Charmed and Prison Break, as well as voicing the character of Kirstee Smith in Bratz between 2004 and 2005, before landing the role of Penny in 2007.
A decade later, she is the highest paid TV actress in the world, commanding an eye-watering $1 million per episode.

Anyway, it's comforting to see that despite her fame and fortune, Cuoco is just as forgetful and absent-minded as us mere mortals. After all, that's surely the reason she wasn't wearing a shirt. She wouldn't have done it on purpose now, would she? Hopefully she'll reply to her friend and co-star's question one of these days, and he reasons will all become clear.
