It's been 20 years since Rose selfishly decided there wasn't enough room for Jack on that door and left him to freeze in a watery grave. Yep, two whole decades have passed since Titanic hit the big screen, doesn't that make you feel old?

Wherever you stand on the great door debate - director James Cameron swears there wasn't enough room for them both - the film was a massive success and made a mega stars of Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet.

Appearing on Good Morning America ahead of the release of her new film The Mountain Between Us, Kate was asked if it was true that she and Leo still quoted lines from Titanic to each other. She nodded in reply and said: "You know. I know you love us even more now!"

The pair have remained close since filming, and Kate's revelation gives us just a snapshot of their pal-ship.

Opening up about their relationship, Kate said: "I do feel so grateful for that friendship. And honestly it is like family. It's one of those rare, Hollywood friendships that I just feel very, very blessed to have.

"I sort of wish there was like a soap opera version of the story where actually Jack and Rose really do end up together. But no." I sort of wish that, too, mate.

The Hollywood buddies are often spotted out and about together, most recently on holiday in St Lucia - hope Kate let him on the lilo - but nothing sums up how close they are than the look on Kate's face when Leo (FINALLY) won his Oscar.

After four nominations, Leo eventually scooped the Best Actor gong in 2016 for his role in The Revenant and Kate was absolutely made up for him, jumping out of her seat to give him a hug.

Speaking after the Screen Actors Guild awards last year, Kate said: "People are always so excited to see Leo and myself in the same space, which you know at the end of the day that is so lovely, isn't it?

"It's been 20 years and people still get such a kick out of it."

Meanwhile, Leo was reported as calling Kate 'my homegirl', while backstage at the BAFTAs last year. Friendship goals.
