Millie Bobby Brown Is Worth $3m And She's Only 13

It's safe to say she won't need to be asking for an increase in her pocket money any time soon.

Millie Bobby Brown is badass. Fact. And you might not be surprised to know that she's also one rich badass, having been raking in the big bucks for her turn as Eleven in hit Netflix series Stranger Things.

The talented young cast from the show - that's Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo and Caleb McLaughlin - have been a huge part of the Stranger Things mania, and have been absolutely everywhere since the show's release.

While they're not quite earning the sort of money that some popular US TV stars are picking up (the cast of The Big Bang Theory reportedly earn a staggering $1 million/£759,400 an episode, for instance), it's safe to say they won't need to be asking for an increase in their pocket money any time soon.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Millie Bobby Brown and her fellow co-stars were paid $30,000 (£22,785) per episode for both seasons one and two - earning them a not-insignificant $240,000 (£182,280) for season one and $270,000 (£205,065) for season two, because there's one more episode in the second season.

They were also handed a 'bonus of less than six figures' when Netflix realised what a massive success the show had been, which seems fair, really.

The third and fourth seasons have apparently already been shot, according to The Hollywood Reporter, because show-makers were worried about the kids going through 'awkward adolescent transitions' - meaning Brown's already had a pretty constant stream of work.

And it's that ongoing - and high-profile - career that means she's now said to be worth a massive $3 million (£2.2 million), which is pretty good going considering she's only just entered her teens.

As well as her iconic role in Stranger Things, the British actress has also racked up the dough with smaller acting roles, a modelling contract with IMG and endorsement deals with Converse and other brands. She's also got a cool 14.3 million followers on Instagram, which certainly can't harm things.

And she'll clearly go far - she wasn't even bothered about shaving all her head off to play Eleven, the mysterious character who has the power of telepathy and has spent a lot of time in hospital gowns.

"I had very long hair and I cut it all off for the part," she told Vulture when she sat down for an exclusive interview. "I convinced them [my parents]. I was like, 'Dude, it grows back. It's fine'."

Yup, with an attitude like that, we're sure those many million dollars will be multiplying even more in no time.
