While Millie Bobby Brown received a ton of praise for her role as Eleven on Netflix's Stranger Things, Gaten Matarazzo quickly became a fan favourite for his character Dustin's unbridled optimism and heroics. So it's no surprise that the 15-year-old actor would draw a sizeable crowd for his band's performance at The Stone Pony in New Jersey.

The Stranger Things star's band is called Work In Progress, and they performed a bunch of covers, ranging from Paramore and Fall Out Boy to Pearl Jam and the Foo Fighters.

The vocals are pretty impressive for a kid that is still going through high school and it's probably a mind boggling experience for him to perform at such an iconic venue. The Stone Pony is one of New Jersey's best-known music establishments, with local legends like Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi having played sets there in their time.

But as we mentioned, Gaten isn't the only one on Stranger Things who has made a foray into the music industry.

Another member of the awesome foursome, Finn Wolfhard (Mike), fronts a band called Calpurnia. They're hard at work recording their EP - obviously when teen actor Finn isn't fighting demogorgons or battling a demonic entity in It.

The 15-year-old told Now Toronto that he owes his passion for music to Canadian punk rock band PUP, saying: "PUP is probably the most influential band in the last 10 years of my life - them and the Beatles.

"Once you listen to them, [you discover] so many other bands in that genre. PUP introduced me to so much more amazing music. They really shaped my sound."

Finn also tested out his pipes in a musical production of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, alongside John Stamos and Weird Al Yankovic.

Also showing off some strong vocals, Joe Keery (aka Steve Harrington) is in a psych rock band named Post Animal. They already have an album out, titled Post Animal Perform the Most Curious Water Activities, which has seven tracks.

Meanwhile Noah Schnapp (Will) appeared in Panic! At The Disco's music video for 'LA Devotee', Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas) was in Sia's video for 'Santa's Coming For Us', and Millie Bobby Brown joined Paris Jackson in The xx's video for 'Dare You'.

Now we just need Winona Ryder (Joyce) and David Harbour (Chief Hopper) to either release a single together or get in a music video and then virtually all the bases are covered.
