Liam Gallagher and Idris Elba have announced the end to their feud, which began over hair ruffling and a woolly hat back in 2013.

The men met, and fell out, at the NME Awards 2013, but the pair insist it's all behind them now, but that wasn't always the case.

Speaking shortly after the incident, Liam told Absolute Radio: "I don't give a fuck who he is, you don't touch a man's haircut, especially if you've got a red bobbly hat on."

I think that's a good rule to live by, to be honest.

Meanwhile, Idris told GQ: "Don't touch his hair, apparently. Fuck off. Next time walk with a fucking hairdresser, then."

However, despite the hat-throwing and hair-messing, the pair stopped short of trading blows, Idris told the Guardian: "It got blown out of proportion, but we kept our hats on, so to speak."

Well, fast forward four years and the pair meet again on The Graham Norton Show. The host is chatting to Liam about his long-standing feud with his older brother Noel, when Idris pipes up to remind everyone of their beef.

And neither of them were willing to accept responsibility, with Idris saying: "Me and Liam have squared it away. We had a falling out. He threw my hat across the bar."

"We only fell out for 10 minutes," Liam says.

Before Idris attempts to attribute the blame to Liam, saying: "He threw my hat across the bar."

Liam's not having that, though and interjects: "You started it mate by feeling my hair."

"I went in for a hug. He didn't like that because he loves his hair," Idris told Graham. "And then he took my hat off, and we were in the bar, and he just went..." and then made a throwing gesture.

Before adding: "We're all good now."

This follows a cheeky tweet posted by Liam earlier this week, shortly after filming the BBC show:

So, all's well that ends well.
