Some things are pretty revealing when it comes to age. You can have a good stab at guessing how old someone is if they still refer to the Carabao Cup as the Carling, Worthington, Coca-Cola Cup or Littlewoods Cup, and if they say Milk Cup they're ancient.
Anyone who talks about their days on MySpace, MSN Messenger and Napster definitely wasn't born after 2000, while audio cassettes are another ball game altogether.
It's the same for Keanu Reeves. The actor has barely aged in about 25 years, but before his John Wick and Matrix days, some of us knew him as Ted, the endearing, dumber half of ultra-dude combo Bill & Ted, two reprobate high school teenagers who ultimately travelled through time to save the world from oblivion, before becoming rock and roll gods.

Back then he had long hair and wore a waistcoat, t-shirt and trainers instead of a slick suit. But since the turn of the millennium (or 1999, when Matrix was released), Reeves has stuck to a strict sartorial diet of black, black and, well, more black. You could call him The Man In Black but that would confuse him with this guy:
Since then, however, Reeves has made the 'I'm dressed for a funeral, but I like it,' look his own, barely changing his get up from red carpet to red carpet. Fair play to him.

He must have saved an absolute mint on outfits, which he can spend instead on pursuing his hobbies, which include smouldering, pensiveness and looking far off into the distant with a concentrated expression. Then again, all those things are free, so maybe he could splash out on a shirt from Debenhams or something.

For a man who first found fame by travelling through time, Reeves has certainly learned how to keep himself ageless and hey, it's a strong look. Plus, at least we know he doesn't have really bad dandruff.
