By now you've probably all seen the Facebook hoax which claimed that Sylvester Stallone had died. Sly himself has certainly seen it and he has responded to the claims posting a video of himself with the caption: "It's so great to be back from the dead!"

That's a very Stallone thing to do, isn't it?

In the clip, Stallone can be seen locking his daughters Sistine and Sophie outside during a hailstorm, as he asks them: "What's wrong, is it cold?" before turning the camera toward himself and saying: "That'll teach them."

Uploading the clip to his Instagram, Stallone wrote: "Locking my daughters outside during a slight hail storm... It's so great to be back from the Dead!!!"

Rumours of the 71-year-old Rocky actor's death have popped back up on social media in recent days, with a number of sick posts claiming he had been found dead at his LA home - tributes flooded in from heart-broken fans who had fallen for the hoax and the man himself was forced to step in and clear up the rumours.

Two days ago he posted a selection of screen-grabs about his 'death' and writing: "Please ignore this stupidity...Alive and well and happy and healthy...Still punching."

He followed this with a second post showing a screenshot from 2008's Rambo - in which he's grabbing the character Michael Burnett (Paul Schultz) by the throat - with the caption: "Remember to always grab LIFE by the throat and do not let go until you succeed!!!" He's a big fan of the exclamation mark, isn't he?

And this isn't the first time our man Stallone has been the target of a sick hoax. About 18 months ago, another rumour started that he'd 'died' following a long, secret battle with prostate cancer. Aren't people weird, sitting at home making this shit up?

Of course, Stallone isn't unique when it comes to bizarre death rumours online; a new one seems to pop up every few months, recently Jaden Smith was at the centre of another, with sinister claims doing the rounds that he had died after taking his own life.
