The 'Home Alone' star was happy to over-share

Hold on to your stomach and get ready to say goodbye to your childhood, because Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin has opened up about losing his virginity at 15 and he didn't scrimp on the details.

The actor, who briefly switched careers for his stint in pizza-themed rock band The Pizza Underground, appeared on the Anna Faris Is Unqualified podcast, where he opened up about his first time - including the 'smells'. Lovely.

He said: "It wasn't gross or weird. It was, yeah, we planned it.

"It was warm and sticky and I thought like, 'Geez, this is weird. Am I doing it right?' And also we listened to The White Album [a notoriously weird Beatles album from 1968] so there you go."

He then went on to say: "In a nutshell, like, 'Am I doing it right? This is really warm and sticky. So many new smells, what's going on?' So yes, that was me losing my virginity at 15."

Fair enough.

The actor was then asked at what age would he be OK with his (hypothetical) kids losing their virginity to which he replied saying that as he was 15, 'that would be the youngest I'd be OK with'.

Before adding: "I'd say about 32. I want them to wait till they're married."

Culkin himself was married at 18, to actress Rachel Miner, however they split two years later. He went on to date Mila Kunis for 11 years, before their relationship also ended.

When he's not revealing too much about his childhood on podcasts, Culkin is very active on Twitter. He recently live-tweeted the Oscars, despite not actually being there and, honestly, it was pretty funny.

He dressed up in a suit for the event, and shared photos of himself playing guitar and making some noodles, as well as wading in on who he thought was truly Oscar-worthy and who wasn't:

I think this might be my new favourite celebrity Twitter account.
