Thursday night saw an eventful evening at the BRIT Awards, with Kendrick Lamar confusing the hell out of everyone with his performance, Este from Haim stealing the show and Stormzy getting all political on us.

And the action continued through well into the night, it seems, as This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby took the opportunity to lashed out at the paparazzi, after she was photographed hitting the after parties with co-host Phillip Schofield.

Taking to Instagram to air her grievances, she shared a collage blasting the paps for some horrendous snaps they took of herself, Louise Redknapp, Rita Ora and Abbey Clancy exiting cars.

The caption reads: "At the beginning of the night we held white roses and walked down a red carpet full of the hope and pride that comes with the #timesupcampaign... at the end of the night, cameras were held low to get a photo up our skirts... times apparently up on #timesup"

And Holly's hit at the paparazzi wasn't the only controversy that emerged from the evening. Stormzy picked up two awards before throwing shade at Theresa May by asking where the Grenfell money was.

After grabbing himself the award for Best British Male and Best British Album for Gang Signs and Prayer at the awards do yesterday, the MC stole the show with his performance - in which he called out the government for the way it dealed with the horrific Grenfell tower fire, which killed 71 people last June.

He rapped: "Yo, Theresa May where's that money for Grenfell? What you thought we just forgot about Grenfell?

"You criminals and you got the cheek to call us savages, you should do some jail time, you should pay some damages, we should burn your house down and see if you can manage this."

The politically-charged performance was a standout of the evening, and Stormzy was praised across viewers across social media for being unafraid to address such contentious current issues.

More than 70 people were killed in June last year when the high-rise tower erupted in flames. There has been a criminal investigation, an inquiry into the cause and spread, the firefighter's response times, the forensic search and recovery effort and occupational side-effects, but no one has been arrested.

The fire led to great scrutiny on the government, with accusations that austerity policies may have led to the blaze, while the Prime Minister, Theresa May, was criticised in its immediate aftermath for not meeting survivors and families of those missing.
