Jamie Foxx Walks Out Of Interview When Host Asks About Katie Holmes

Jamie Foxx is a pretty cool guy. He's been unflappable on the screen, whether murdering slave owners in Django Unchained, tinkling away at the piano as Ray Charles or even as a taxi driver in a hostage situation in Collateral.

If you were wondering how to knock such a cool kid off his stride, however, then it's a lot easier than you might think: simply mention Katie Holmes.

Foxx and Holmes have been rumoured to be in a relationship for some time, but nothing has ever been officially announced, and it seems like we shouldn't hold our breath on anything coming out any time soon.

No, really. Foxx walked out of an interview with ESPN when their interviewer asked him if he and Katie Holmes played basketball together, simply refusing to answer the question.

Michael Smith, the ESPN host, was speaking to Foxx ahead of the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, which is taking place in Los Angeles.

The pair were first spotted together in 2013 at a party in the Hamptons, just outside New York City, just a year after Holmes had divorced Tom Cruise.

Foxx scotched the rumours, however, in 2014, telling Entertainment Tonight: [The rumours] are 100% not true. In fact, it's quite hilarious because we simply danced at a charity event along with a lot of other people."

The story refused to die, however, and Foxx denied the rumours again back in 2015, telling TMZ: "Oh come on, you guys have been trying to make that stick for three years, we're just friends.

As a matter of fact Anthony Zuiker, creator of CSI, he offered us an animation project and we're working on that.

They have been trying to [link us] for three years - just stories I guess. You just have to respect - that's just part of our lives."

There's no smoke without fire, however, and in 2016, Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Claudia Jordan, and a friend of Foxx's, told media that they were together.

"He is very happy with her. I like that he seems very happy," she said.

So are they together or are they not? Who knows?

But perhaps, given how embarrassing a husband Tom Cruise was - it was Holmes he was talking about when he was jumping on Oprah Winfrey's sofa - we think Katie could be forgiven for not going public on her relationships again.
