Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are known for their amusing tongue-in-cheek beef with each other, often seen making light-hearted digs at each other even though we all know that deep down they're good pals really.

Well, now actor John Krasinski has thrown himself into the trolling game, after Hugh Jackman tweeted a photo of he and Krasinski's wife Emily Blunt at a Variety Actors on Actors event.

Of course, there's nothing dodgy about the photo - just two people having a lovely time together on the ol' red carpet. Same old for Jackman and Blunt, we're guessing.

Ah, but then Krasinski popped up, tweeting another photo from another angle and writing: "Eeeeeeasy Hugh... not sure this is what @Variety meant with #ActorsonActors....Don't make me think I can hurt you."

Never one to turn down an opportunity to make a dig at Jackman, Reynolds then chipped in, tweeting: "This is a call to action. This man must be stopped."

Jackman and Reynolds have been throwing out the faux hate for ages now - most recently the former was accused of being a 'fake foreigner' by the latter.

Made in the style of a political propaganda video (but, more importantly, also serving as an ad for Jackman's forthcoming movie, The Front Runner), Reynolds tells us in the video that instead of thinking about voting for the Aussie actor for any awards, they should instead consider the 'facts'.

He states that Jackman's full name isn't just 'Hugh Jackman', but 'Hugh Michael Jackman', adding that the Wolverine actor is actually from Milwaukee - a dubious claim, given that all evidence points to him having been born in Sydney.

Jackman also took a hit at Reynolds a few months back as well - having appeared on Good Morning America and asking if he could say a quick message to his pal.

Looking straight down the camera, Jackman said: "Ryan, I love you, man. I love Deadpool. I can't wait to see the movie, you're one of my best friends. Blake [Lively, the actor to whom Ryan is married], the family, the whole thing.

"But back it up a little. Play a little hard to get. It's too much - it's not sexy."

Glad to see John Krasinski's joined in on the action now... We're also looking forward to hearing what Emily Blunt has to say about the whole thing.
