Kanye West recently came in for a for a fair amount of flak for wearing Yeezy slides that were 'too small'.
Despite defending himself by saying he chose to wear his sandals 'the Japanese way', the rapper has since posted to take the piss out of the whole weird situation in a rare display of actual self awareness.
Taking to his Twitter account he shared a photo of himself wearing comedically massive shoes and asked: "Are these slides big enough?"

He followed that up with a mocked-up photo of him alongside wife Kim rocking the new huge slides.
Fair play to him, this is actually quite funny and it's nice to see that a man famed for taking himself very seriously isn't above having a laugh at his own expense.
The 41-year-old was initially snapped wearing the 'too small' shoes while attending his pal 2 Chainz' wedding with his other half. He was trolled relentlessly after photos of him appeared online. One fan wrote: "Kanye, Yeezys are your shoes, there should be no reason why you can't get the size that fits you."

While another added: "He looked good until I saw the full photos and realised his shoes don't even fit his feet."
But the rapper defended his new shoes - which will set you back around $150, if you'd also like a pair of padded sandals that don't fit - by saying that the designs were inspired by the 'Japanese way' of wearing sandals and shared a couple of images, one of which had a diagram with the words: "Your heal should extend 1-2cm off the back of the wooden sole."

But not everyone was convinced with one fan posting: "He's really trying to justify him wearing slides too small for his feet. Interesting that it took him, like, two weeks to find this."
Never mind if they fit or not, we've got bigger questions, such as who wears flip flops a) with socks b) with a suit and c) to a wedding?
Come on Kanye, mate, I thought you were a fashion designer?
