We love Keanu Reeves in John Wick 3 but oh boy do we love him more irl. Especially after he bought an ice cream.
Yes, a Hollywood actor bought an ice cream. Only he didn't buy it for the brain freeze potential but because he wanted to give a fan his autograph. Cute and not very John Wick-like either. But we'll let him off.
In his first tweet he doesn't give much away but then goes on to set the scene: "Keanu came to the movie theater I worked at in Sydney in 2001. He was working on the Matrix series at the time. It's a quiet, Wednesday morning - almost nobody is seeing movies."
Employee discount for Keanu Reeves. You or I
might would have taken full advantage of that but not Keanu - probably because he knew the story would have broke and he'd be called a 'money-grabbing dick head'. Not by us, obviously.
James continued by outlining Keanu's humble response:
Cute but also, very risky of Keanu - especially if the bloke was just really shocked that a grown man was getting around with a horse riding helmet under his arm.
This urged people to tell their own Keanu-based tales. Humans always have to one up other humans, don't they?
Another added: "My mom played his mom in a movie once so I guess that makes me almost his brother? Anyway, yes yes, she said he was a very sweet guy."
Ok, that guy wins.
