Kim Kardashian 'Makes $5m In Just Five Minutes' After Perfume Launch

When you're as rich as Kim Kardashian West, $5 million (£3.8m) probably doesn't feel like that much.

After all, her estimated wealth is somewhere in the region of $350 million (£266.5m) and, if she somehow manages to lose that, her husband - rapper Kanye West - is worth $160 million (£121.8m).

As I say: $5 million probably doesn't mean much in the Kardashian household.

That said, Kim has managed to make $5 million in just five minutes, that's a million a minute, if you're crap at maths, following the launch of her new range of perfumes.

This is not uncharted territory for the Kardashians. Kim's last fragrance made $10 million (£7.6m) in a day last year, so her new perfume could be expected to do similar, while it has been speculated that Kylie, Kim's half-sister, is now worth $800 million (£609m) and is about to become the youngest ever self-made billionaire.

I feel duty bound to point out that Kylie is hardly self-made: her Dad was incredibly rich and then married into a family that was also incredibly rich, while she has been on the telly since she was ten, which I'm guessing wasn't her call.

But despite all this, some people still thinks Kylie needs a helping hand to get her to one the billion point, so much so, that a GoFundMe has been set up.

The GoFundMe campaign was started by Instagram star Josh Ostrovsky, and was clearly a joke, right?

However, the, 'Let's Get Kylie Jenner To A Billion' campaign, which has this mission statement: "I don't want to live in a world where Kylie Jenner doesn't have a billion dollars. WE MUST RAISE 100 MILLION DOLLARS TO HELP HER GET TO A BILLION, PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD, THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT," is seeing people part with their hard-earned cash for the worthwhile cause.

What a world we live in, eh?
