Sarah Paulson has revealed that Matthew Perry once left the room after pulling her name out of a hat during a 'make out party'.
The 46-year-old Rached star told US talk show host Jimmy Kimmel how she was invited to the shindig by the late Carrie Fisher who explained that it would be help at Gore Vidal's home.
Speaking to Kimmel, Paulson explained: "She [Carrie Fisher] asked me if I wanted to come to Gore Vidal's make out party - Gore Vidal's make out party. Carrie had this and it was her idea to call it the make out party."

After outlining some of those in attendance - including Shirley MacLaine and Queen Latifah - Paulson explained how she was 'panicked'.
She went on to add: "I didn't see anyone make out but there was a hat with names in it and you were supposed to make out with whomever you pulled out of the hat.
"Matthew Perry pulled my name out of the hat and promptly left the room."
Asked how she knew her name had been pulled out of the hat, Sarah explained: "Because I saw him. He was like, 'Oh, well...' And he was like, 'I got you.' And I was like, 'Uh, uh well let's kiss.' And he was like, 'No.'"

Backtracking, Paulson continued: "No, we knew each other a little bit through one of my very best friends so it was awkward.
"But then we ended up playing romantic partners years later on a show called Studio 60 and then I got my kiss. I got several kisses and boy did he regret not taking me up on it back at Gore Vidal's make out party."
Jimmy Kimmel went on to joke that Perry probably didn't remember much from the party to which Paulson agreed, adding: "He probably thinks we did make out at that party."

Luckily, Paulson went on to find someone who was more than willing to give her a smooch: her girlfriend of six years, Holland Taylor.
Things haven't been plain sailing for the couple as Paulson has spoken about in the past - especially when it comes to their age difference (Paulson is 46 and Taylor is 78).
Back in September 2020, she told the Guardian: "I don't remember people going nuts about Michael Douglas and Catherine-Zeta Jones, in terms of their age difference.
"For me, that seems to be the predominant interest in my relationship with Holland, what would be perceived by some as the strangeness of it, or the unlikelihood of it. I think people are fascinated by it, because it's so not typical.

"Except for if you look around at plenty of well-known or recognisable couples, when they're heterosexual couples, it just runs rampant, and I don't see anybody becoming obsessed by those relationships."
