Actress Mila Kunis has opened up about her relationship with Macaulay Culkin, saying she 'fucked up' and was 'an asshole' before they split.
In case you didn't know, there was a period somewhere between Home Alone 2: Lost in New York and that weird pizza-themed covers band when Culkin dated Kunis - and it wasn't just a short casual thing, the pair were an item for eight years before splitting back in 2011.
Although she didn't elaborate on why the couple split, she did pile the blame on herself.

Speaking on the Armchair Expert podcast, Kunis said: "I had a horrible breakup. I had a horrible, horrible, horrible breakup.
"I fucked up. I was an asshole in my 20s and I'll be the first to admit it.
"And that's kind of something that took me a long time to come out and be like, 'Yeah, you know what, I was a dick,' and accept it and I own it.
"It's fucked up what I did, and it's fucked up how I did it. When I got to be a single I said, 'I just need to figure myself out.' I genuinely need to know why I did what I did, and, like, regroup myself as a human being."

When podcast host Dax Shepard asked if she'd now forgiven herself about how she behaved, she added: "You know, it's been so long like I feel like enough time has gone by.
"I think enough mutual friends have been like, everybody kind of forgave everybody for what went down."
Kunis is now happily hitched to That 70s Show co-star Ashton Kutcher.

Revealing her mum's reaction to the news that she was dating Kutcher, Kunis told Shepard: '"We were driving up Laurel Canyon, and I was like, 'Mom, I have to tell you I'm dating somebody.'"
"And she was like, 'Oh, tell me! Who are you dating?" And I was like, 'You've got to brace yourself for this one... I'm dating Ashton Kutcher.'
"And she literally was like, 'Shut the fuck up!' In Russian." Probably not the reaction she was wanting, but Kunis went on to say she thought the amount of publicity around Kutcher's divorce from actress Demi Moore may have been to blame for her mum's concerns.

However, it seems like those worries were misplaced - the pair have been dating since 2012, married since 2015 and have a couple of kids together.
Meanwhile, former child star Culkin is reported to be dating Brenda Song, another former child star, who previously worked on the Disney Channel.
