It's always a reality check when snaps emerge of a child actor a few years down the line, looking a lot older than they did in the film.
Of course, they're not super-human and can't defy age, but still. You just expect them to be that little kid they played in the series.
Take Macaulay Culkin. Once upon a time, he was starring in the Home Alone films so it's still always a bit of a shock when you see him now as a grown up and also looking fit and healthy after a few problems in the past.

Warner Bros. uploaded a seriously sharp snap of Grant Holmquist, the baby boy who starred in The Hangover, and he looks grown up now, too. You can't stop the clocks, obviously.
The production company posted a shot of the little one, who played Carlos in the film, on its Instagram account, showing him beaming up at the camera.

"#BabyCarlos all grown up! Introducing the adorable #GrantHolmquist from #TheHangover Part III," reads the caption.
Bit different to the film, right?
Obviously The Hangover fans lost their shit for the Instagram post, and reminisced over the film in the comments section.

"Not at the table Carlos," said one fan.
And a second quoted the film, writing: "Are you my real dad?" - Carlos "Yes" - Alan #Classic #H3."
In fact, the baby Carlos, or real name in the classic film, Tyler, was played by twins Avery and Grant Holmquist.

According to OK!, Grant is now eight years old, and has carried on working as a child actor since the show.
He made a return to part three of The Hangover and reportedly had to audition for the part, but the director always wanted to cast him again.
