People are losing their shit over Steve Carell seeming to defy the ageing process, as photos of the star circulate on social media after his Golden Globes appearance.
It may seem like yesterday since the US version of The Office hit TV screens on both sides of the Atlantic, but it's actually coming up to 14 years since the first episode aired - and after 56-year-old Carell appeared at the awards ceremony, it seems fans of the actor can't believe how well he's aged.

One person tweeted: "Steve Carell has aged AMAZINGLY that's all," along with side-by-side images of the actor during his Office days with one from the Globes, last night.
More comments flooded in, with a fan commenting: "Like a fine wine, @SteveCarell just gets better with age."
Another said: "Oh hello STEVE CARELL IS AGING V V WELL."
A third posted: "SteveCarell is so hot I don't care #GoldenGIobes."

Others didn't hold back in the slightest - one tweet in particular went straight to the point when it came to Carell's attractiveness.
"Steve Carell could without reservation get it," it was posted on Twitter.
Other comments included calling him 'a god', 'just beautiful' and even a simple 'hubba hubba' - and one complimented his 'salt and pepper beard'.

Rather than focus on Carell's looks, some people had other ideas for the star, saying he should be the one to host this year's Oscars.
As one person tweeted: "Can I start a petition to have @SteveCarell host The Oscars in February? Funny, nice and everyone likes him, except for @rickygervais!"
And another said: "Fuck Kevin Hart and make Steve Carell the Oscar's host."

That's not to say he looks identical to the way he did during his days as Michael Scott - for one thing, his jet-black barnet now features healthy sprinkling of grey hair - but he's certainly looking extremely healthy, which is encouraging news for the rest of us.
Despite making his name with comedies like The Office and Anchorman, Carell has put his taken a move into more serious territory for his latest role, in the drama and moving film Beautiful Boy.
The film - based on the autobiographical book of the same name, by David Sheff - sees Carell play a father whose son endures a prolonged battle with drug addiction and substance abuse.

Both Carell and Beautiful Boy have received positive reviews after the film was premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival back in September 2018.
