Police have reportedly been called to Logan Paul's home after a person broke in just to meet the YouTuber.

According to TMZ, the 22-year-old came back to his home in the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles around 10pm and saw the bloke just sitting on his couch.

At least he wasn't stealing stuff.

The tabloid site claimed the intruder was charging his phone in the living room and was waiting to meet the embattled social media star. It's reported he entered the home through an unlocked door and sat on the sofa while there were people upstairs.

Logan performed a 'citizens arrest' and the cops booked him for criminal trespass.

The YouTuber certainly isn't the first celebrity to have over-zealous fans go above and beyond to try and meet their heroes.

In 2012, a bloke terrorised singer and actor Selena Gomez and even requested a restraining order be placed on him to prevent him from contacting her. According to Hollywood.com, the man claimed to have had 'over fifty conversations with God a day, about killing Ms. Gomez'.

A man who escaped a mental institution was hellbent on meeting singer Madonna in the 1990s. He hopped the fence to her property and was either going to marry the pop icon or 'slash her throat from ear to ear'. Her bodyguards shot him before he could enter the home and he was sentenced to 10 years behind bars.

Justin Timberlake got an unwanted visit from a fan in 2009 at his home, with the woman claiming she was destined to be with the singer. The intruder received a restraining order and it was revealed that she had previously been arrested several times outside the house of Guns N Roses frontman Axl Rose.

Gwyneth Paltrow was sent love letters and boxes of porn from Dante Michael Solu, who was obsessed with the actor. MTV says the guy also went to Paltrow's parent's house but was stopped before he could carry out his plan.

Model Gigi Hadid had a bloke break into her home in New York City five times in a week.

He reportedly yelled: "I'm paramilitary and I saved her life before. She wants to marry me and have my kids." Hadid sold the property shortly after he was arrested and charged with eight offences, however some of those relate to other instances from 2015.

There are plenty more cases where fans took it way beyond the boundaries of acceptability in order to get closer to their favourite celebrities.
