The who's who of America and the UK came together to watch Prince Harry tie the knot with Meghan Markle at St George's Chapel in Windsor on Saturday.

While Hazza and Megs had to invite the usual suspects for their big day, there was no shortage of big-name celebrities that got suited and frocked up.

Television networks kept a close eye on everyone coming into the chapel and there were a few raised eyebrows when one camera captured Elton John saying hello to David Beckham.

However, it wasn't a handshake or hug - but seemingly a kiss on the lips.

A lot of people on social media pointed out that after the intimate greeting, Sir Elton was seen licking his lips.

To be fair, it's not as if they snogged each other in the holy chapel, but it didn't stop people racing to their keyboards to give their two cents.

In the past, Becks has attracted headlines for locking lips with people other than his wife, Victoria.

The former England captain posted a photo on social media of him kissing his daughter, Harper, and after all the criticism he revealed that he does that with all his kids.

He told the Sun: "Brooklyn maybe not. Brooklyn is 18, he might find that a little bit strange.

"But I'm very affectionate with the kids. It's how I was brought up and Victoria, and it's how we are with our children."

But the moment with Elton John was obviously nothing compared to the kiss that everyone was waiting for in Windsor today, which was between Harry and Meghan.

Prince Harry was seen wiping away tears during the ceremony, and the two were also caught sharing a few giggles and smirks throughout - not least while Bishop Michael Curry gave his rousing sermon.

He quoted from Martin Luther King Jr and told the crowd: "We must discover the power of love, the power, the redemptive power of love. And when we discover that we will be able to make of this old world a new world."

When Meghan joined Harry at the altar, a lot of people thought he whispered to her: "I'm shitting it."

However, proper lip readers were called in and ruled that he said that his bride looked 'amazing' and that he 'missed' her. I think we all prefer the other way.

People also pointed out that there was a seat left for the late Princess Diana inside the chapel next to Prince William - which is bloody awesome.
