Ryan Reynolds is no stranger to acting the funny man on social media.

His Twitter feed is home to an endless stream of cynicism where no joke is too far. He's even had a go at pretending to troll his wife, Blake Lively - all in the name of love, of course.

So, on Father's Day, we knew we could expect something unconventional to mark the occasion - at the expense of his brothers.

The Deadpool star, 41, uploaded a photo of himself and his three brothers to Instagram with the caption: "#HappyFathersDay to my three big brothers - who also happen to be amazing dads. Looks like we made it... Who knew four broken condoms could lead to this much love?"

Commenting on the post, Ryan's Deadpool 2 co-star, Josh Brolin, was clearly feeling the lols as he wrote: "Hahahaha".

Reynolds has two daughters himself with Blake, and he posted about the whippersnappers on Twitter: "Having matching donor organs in case anything happens to me is a true blessing. #HappyFathersDay."

A smart move, considering his new venture into the liquor business. Three livers are better than one, right?

Ryan also shared this picture, which were presuming is featuring his dad. It's new levels of weird if not.

This comes a few months after banter merchant Reynolds responded to rumours that he and Blake were struggling to find time to spend with each other. The Canadian actor posted on Twitter: "I wish. I could use a little "me time"."

They're not afraid of going in on each other either. Reynolds joked with late-night talk show host Seth Meyers about how he played Marvin Gaye's 'Let's Get It On' at the birth of one of their children, which you'd have to imagine went down a storm.

He described her reaction: "It was like steak knives came out of her eyes.

"She was like, 'Are you fucking kidding me?'."

Lively gives as good as she gets, though. On Father's Day in 2015 she posted a sweet picture of Reynolds carrying one of their kids with the caption: "Happy Fathers Day!!! ... @vancityreynolds Since the day our baby was born, I've felt so strongly in my heart that you were most likely the father."
