Ryan Reynolds has always been great with banter but he absolutely came into his own in Marvel hit Deadpool.

With the upcoming UK cinema release of The Hitman's Bodyguard, starring Ryan, we find ourselves stalking his social media to catch a glimpse of what's to come.

According to IMDB, the movie follows the story of a 'top bodyguard' whose new client is a 'hit man'. Sounds like a standard rom-com...

They explained: "The world's top bodyguard gets a new client, a hit man who must testify at the International Court of Justice. They must put their differences aside and work together to make it to the trial on time."

It looks pretty epic if you ask us...

Ryan has always been admired for being as savage on-screen as he is off it, but it turns out he isn't the only one who can have a laugh online, as his co-star, Salma Hayek, took to Instagram yesterday to make a dig at the actor.

The actress shared a photo on her social media yesterday, where we can see her holding Ryan's child in one arm, and a cooking utensil in the other while wearing a floral apron and clearly getting stuck in on the domestic front.

The actress joked about 'doing all the work', when being invited over for dinner, saying: "When your friends invite you for dinner and you end up doing all the work. Cuando tus amigos te invitan a cenar y acabas haciéndole todo tu. #hitmansbodyguard #ryanreynolds #tbt."

Ryan can be seen clapping in the background, presumably at Salma's domestic efforts.

It's cool to see the two of them hanging out outside of filming, and it seems like they're pretty good pals.

It looks like they have fun on set, too, as we can see in this cheeky Insta post, where Salma sticks out her tongue alongside our man, Ryan.

We hope Ryan did the washing up and pulled his own weight.

The Hitman's Bodyguard stars obviously Ryan Reynolds, Samuel L. Jackson, Gary Oldman, Salma Hayek, Elodie Yung and hits the UK cinemas on August 18, 2017.
