The King of Twitter trolling has returned. Less than a month after the opening of Deadpool 2 its main star, Ryan Reynolds, has popped up on his favourite social media platform with some savage take downs of the current trend for people wearing small sunglasses.

Reynolds, who is almost as well-known for his online trolling antics as he is for his acting, posted the following picture, which took direct aim at the trend that seems to have swept across the world now that winter is over and the sun is staying out for longer.

The picture shows him wearing a pair of ridiculously small sunglasses - which we're guessing belong to one of his daughters - with the caption: "I'm really into the whole tiny sunglasses trend. Thanks for your support everyone!"

As we all know by now, it's far from the first time that Ryan has taken to social media to troll people, but it's usually his wife - actress Blake Lively - or even his kids.

It really makes us wonder if his Deadpool character is just an exaggerated version of Ryan - or if he's really like that in real life and just tones it down a little with the nihilism and violence for his public persona.

Still, he has a very good point about these little sunglasses. They do look slightly ridiculous. And while we're all for people dressing however they want, blindly following a trend - especially when said trend makes you look a little silly - is something we should all probably think hard about not doing.

Instead, let's all go about setting our own trends and wearing whatever the hell we want - not because a Kardashian did it, but because it's what we want to do and it makes us feel comfortable and happy. Which, after all, is what life is about.

And yes, we know that Ryan was probably just taking the piss for a laugh rather than to make a point, but if it makes us stop and think about these things, then that's only a good thing. Besides, you know damn well it's what Deadpool would want us to do.
