Selena Gomez’s Family Think Getting Back With Justin Bieber Was A Bad Idea

The singer’s family are not keen on Biebz because of his past and reckon that the relationship will turn sour in the long run.

It's hard enough being famous, never mind being famous and in a relationship with another famous person.

You're constantly followed through the streets by admiring fans looking for a selfie, paparazzi looking for a big payday (or for you to do something stupid) and people are always giving out their opinion on your relationship.

Well, we usually dismiss a lot of these problems because the people in famous relationships tend to have a load of money and can get away to somewhere really private to escape their troubles, but it turns out that they do suffer with some of the same issues as normal people have with their relationships.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have recently rekindled their relationship after a while apart. It's a tale as old as time really - boy meets girl, they break up, girl has a kidney transplant, boy texts to see if she's OK, they start dating again.

You know - that old chestnut.

However, it's not all good news for the pair. Justin has come up against a wall that has been troubling budding relationships since time began - his partner's family.

Yes, Selena's fam do not approve of her daughter hanging around with the tattooed, bucket pissing, monkey traumatising bad-boy of pop music.

Rumours started to surface about this in December, with one source quoted as saying: "They do not think he is a good person for Selena to have in her life and are sceptical that he has changed. Even if he is on his best behaviour for now, eventually he will unravel.

"He has caused so much angst for the family and for Selena. They are very sad that she is choosing this route.

"They want to protect her as much as they can, but it's causing them a great deal of stress and pain to watch her give him another chance."

Now Gossip Cop have released an interview with Selena's mum, Mandy Teefey, in which she said: "Selena can live her life however she wants as long as she is happy, safe and healthy.

"She is 25 years old and knows what is at stake with her health. I do not control her the way it has been portrayed. Selena is an adult and can make her own choices."

Pretty cold, huh? Well, it's not exactly as if Selena is that popular with her anyway - they unfollowed each other on Instagram a while back.

Biebz's family, on the other hand, are delighted.

One insider told E News: "They think that being back together with Selena is a positive thing. He wants to do things differently and make it right and show everyone how far he has come."

Bless. As long as they don't get any pets together they'll be fine.
