​Stormzy And Maya Jama Split After Four Years Together

Stormzy and Maya Jama have split up, Jama's publicist has confirmed to Metro.

They had been together for more than four years, having met at Red Bull Culture Clash in late 2014.

Jama's representative said: "I can confirm the relationship has ended and Maya has separated from Stormzy."

The news comes amid claims the TV presenter was growing 'tired' of Stormzy's party lifestyle.

Initially, reports suggested that rapper Stormzy hadn't attended Maya's birthday party at the weekend, but fans quickly shut down speculation sharing pictures of him at the bash.

A source told The Sun: "Maya has moved out of their home in South West London. The decision isn't one [Maya] has come to lightly, but ultimately the relationship has come to an end.

"She wants to focus on her TV and radio career for now."

Pretty52 reports that Jama is no longer following Stormzy on Instagram. Currently, Stormzy still follows her.

Many fans are sad to hear the news of their breakup, with one person tweeting: "Nah man Stormzy & Maya Jama can't have split up."

Someone else wrote: "Maya Jama & Stormzy splitting has hit me hard."

A third said: "Nah Maya Jama and Stormzy splitting can't be true."

Another person added: "Stormzy and Maya Jama broke up nobody speak to me."

The couple had been together for four years.

In an interview with Vogue, the two opened up about how they met, explaining they'd first bumped into each other at an event and were an official item within three months.

Stormzy said: "We met in October, then we were going out by January."

Jama added: "We met at Red Bull Culture Clash.

"You know, if I'm really honest, I knew I fancied him from the start. But I didn't want anything yet, because, you know, you're trying to do the whole friend situation first, and then I'd do, like, obvious hints that I fancied him and then take it back because I didn't know if he definitely liked me.

"It was a childish phase. And then one day we just kissed, and that was that!"

In the interview, the two also discussed what it was like being together while juggling busy lives, which often involve a lot of travel.

Jama said: "The fact that we love each other. That's the main thing, right?"

Agreeing, Stormzy added: "Yeah."
