The Rock Brings All His Weights To Set...And We Mean All!

As one of the world's most popular (and best paid) actors, Dwayne Johnson is a busy guy. But even on those never-ending shoots that last from sunrise to sunset there's one thing he's never too busy to do - work out. I mean, you've seen those guns, haven't you?

So while some of us might be content with a quick afternoon jog or some weights before breakfast to keep in shape, Johnson takes things much, much further. Of course he does - he's The Rock.

Just how much further does he take things, you ask? Well, the 45-year-old, who has been in Vancouver for the last few months filming his forthcoming movie Skyscraper, revealed via an Instagram video that he brings a tent with 40,000 pounds of workout equipment with him to every movie set. That's 20 bloody tonnes.

Which is actually hard to believe. But he also seems to know this. In the video, he gave thanks to the crew responsible for setting up what he calls his "Iron Paradise" for him. Which is probably wise as that very same crew now have to somehow lug that not-so-portable portable gym all the way to Hawaii. Rather them than us.

Although we bet that Johnson himself could single-handedly transport the whole thing quicker than the team charged with doing it.

Dwayne first made his name, of course, as a wrestler. And by his name, we mean The Rock. Between 1996 and 2004, he was in the WWF (before it changed to the WWE) and he's generally regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time.

But he gave all that fame and fortune up to concentrate on his film career. Some may have considered that a dumb move, but they were wrong - Johnson has gone on to become the highest paid actor in the world and has an estimated net worth of $190million (£144m)

There are rumours, however, that he might give that all up to run for being president. We can only assume that if he were successful, that 40,000 pounds of gym equipment would be the first thing to follow him into the Oval Office.
