Sure, we all have a moment where we sigh and wonder why we don't look like Tom Hardy or Margot Robbie. But then we get over it and go back to whatever the fuck we were doing.

That's not the case for these two blokes, who were so fixated on achieving a celebrity look that they spent a grand total of £15,000 ($20,000) on plastic surgery.

Twin brothers Matt and Mike Schlepp from Arizona were so keen to look like Brad Pitt that they were both willing to go under the knife for a radical switch-up. The aspiring actors then went on MTV's I Want A Famous Face to achieve the look.

As part of the lengthy process, Mike got a nose job and cheek, jaw and chin implants, while Matt had a nose job and a chin implant. Between the two of them, they also had 41 porcelain veneers. Absolutely fuck that.

The process took months, and the painful procedures involved left them unable to eat proper meals after the op.

But on the show, Matt said that it was more than worth it.

"I would do it ten times over," he said. "It has definitely helped me get more girls. I'll walk and get that double-take from girls and hear the whispering that follows."

"I've had such a dramatic change that girlfriends I hadn't seen in a while couldn't stop staring, and said they wanted to cry. If that doesn't make you feel good, then what would?

"I never knew that I could be as happy as I am right now," his brother, Mike, said.

"I feel on top of the world by the few tweaks that I went through. Go through with the surgery now because you don't want to go through life always feeling down with the way that you look."

Pitt's wife also hit headlines for a similar reason recently, when Iranian teenager Sahar Tabar claimed to have had 50 surgeries to look like her hero, Angelina Jolie.

However, since gaining thousands of followers on Instagram and going viral, many people have pointed out that the extreme look could well be the result of some photoshopping - not only because her appearance is so radical, but also because of weird stretched details in the background of photos.

While the brothers claim that channelling their inner Pitt has *apparently* helped them 'get girls', we might just swerve all that and save ourselves £15k - as tempting as all of the nose jobs, veneers, chin implants and whole not-being-able-to-eat thing sounds.
