Actor mortified after sending racy photo to her son's football group chat

Ada Nicodemou says 'you’ve got to see the photo to understand how embarrassing this is'.

An Australian actor has been left absolutely mortified after realising she sent a racy picture of herself to her son's football parents group chat.

Nearly all of us have sent a message to the wrong person, but at least you haven't done it on a chat involving loads of other parents and even your ex-husband.

Ada Nicodemou sadly had to endure this when she thought she was sending a snap of her on the front cover of a magazine to someone else.

Speaking to 2DAY FM’s Hughesy, Ed & Erin, she said: "So I did a cover for Stellar a while ago and I was sending the cover to my manager, Claire, to see if she liked it.

"And it’s quite racy. Like, boobs are out. You know, midriff — like the whole thing going.”

She added: "You’ve got to see the photo to understand how embarrassing this is."

The Home and Away actor was surprised when she checked her phone that she hadn't heard back as a yay or nay to the image.

“Anyway, the next morning I go to my phone and I’m like, ‘Oh, my God.’ I sent it to the group chat," the 46-year-old said.

"But not only did I send it (to mums), I’m talking mums, dads, my ex-husband... and no one responded at all.”

Ooooft, that is rough.

Anyone who has done this will know that awful moment when you realise there's no turning back.

The damage has been done.

The message has been there for enough time that pretty much everyone has seen it, so if you delete it it won't make a difference.

So, Ada tried to save face and apologised for the mishap.

She explained to the group chat that the image was meant for someone else and things became even more awkward when not a single person replied.

You might expect a few thumbs up emojis at the very least, but no.

Ada was given nothing but the silent treatment.

When asked whether the other people in the group chat thought Ada did it on purpose, she replied with: “Everyone already hated me. But the mums, like the mums hate me.”

However, Ada's Home and Away co-star Emily Symons managed to find a silver lining in the awkwardness.

“Well, imagine if all the dads started putting flames,” she said.

You can't deny that.
