Rebekah Vardy wouldn't have 'husband sleeping with hookers' as she blasts Coleen's marriage to Wayne Rooney

Rebekah Vardy wouldn't have 'husband sleeping with hookers' as she blasts Coleen's marriage to Wayne Rooney

Vardy blasted Rooney in a bunch of Instagram comments where she called her WAG rival 'publicity-seeking'.

Rebekah Vardy has thrown shots at her WAG rival Coleen Rooney for ‘not letting go’ of their wild libel case.

Rooney is on the cover of the September issue of British Vogue and in the remarkably frank interview, she spills the details on topics ranging from Wayne Rooney’s infidelity to the wild Wagatha Christie trial.

The footballers’ wives were embroiled in a High Court libel case following Vardy’s viral social media post in October 2019, for which she said she carried out a ‘sting operation’ and accused Vardy of leaking ‘false stories’ about her private life to the press.

In the end, Vardy lost the libel case she brought against Rooney and was ordered to pay up to £1.5m to Rooney in legal fees.

It seems things are still frosty between the two women, however, Vardy has declared she isn’t ‘jealous’ of Coleen and said her fellow WAG is ‘boring’ and ‘publicity-seeking’ following Rooney’s Vogue interview.

On Thursday (17 August), Vardy took to Instagram to share a holiday snap from Portugal. She shared a number of digs in the comments, including one about Mr Rooney cheating on his wife with sex workers.

When a fan asked Vardy if she’s jealous, she hit back: “Jealous of what exactly! Spare me the pain seriously… I wouldn’t put up with my husband sleeping with hookers end of! No excuses."

Mr Rooney’s infidelity has been well documented over the years.

It hasn’t all been an easy ride for the Rooneys, as the pair have faced rocky moments in the past, which meant keeping the relationship together was a ‘battle’ at times.

Rooney admitted in her Vogue interview: “We’ve had our ups and downs.

“Obviously everybody knows. It’s been hard to go through it in the public eye but there has always been love there. If the love is gone then, you know, it’s pointless. But if not, you’ve got something to work for.”

While on the topic of infidelity, ‘scandals’ and ‘sex workers’ as a result of her husband’s behaviour during their marriage, Coleen remarked: "But another thing is we’ve never backed away from it."

Meanwhile, Vardy criticised Rooney for speaking about the Wagatha Christie trial in the interview and told her to ‘move on’.

In response to a fan, Vardy commented: “What I don’t get why you would want to keep bringing it up. It’s boring now! The public doesn’t care and neither do I. She won that’s the end of it! Be happy move on… because I know I have.”

The wife of former England star Wayne Rooney publicly claimed Vardy's account was the source behind three fake stories she had posted on her private Instagram account.

Vardy - who is married to Leicester City striker, Jamie Vardy - denied leaking the stories and sued Rooney for libel, while Rooney defended the claim on the basis her post was 'substantially true'.
