People reckon Leonardo DiCaprio is no longer using Google after the search engine turned 25

People are having a field day on social media as Google turns 25 years old.

It's hard to believe the search engine has been around for a quarter of a century, and yet here we are.

While there have been a lot of commentary on Twitter/X about the milestone birthday, Leonardo DiCaprio's name keeps coming up.

One said: "Google turns 25 today. Sad day for Leo DiCaprio who won’t be using it anymore i guess."

Another added: "Google turns 25 today; guess it’s Mozilla for Leo DiCaprio from here on out."

A third wrote: "Now that Google turns 25, Leo DiCaprio will move to Bing..."

If you're sitting there scratching your head wondering what the joke is, let us explain.

The Oscar-winning actor has a habit of only dating women who are under 25 years old.

Throughout his life, he has been linked with a string of under-25 women.

Last year, Leo and Camila Morrone broke up after five years just a few months after the latter reached a quarter century.

An insider told The New York Post why they thought this trend was a thing.

“By the time girls reach 25, they’re looking for more — they’re looking to get married and settle down," they explained to the outlet.

"That is not what Leo wants. He does not want a family and does not want to be around women who may press him for that.

“The minute a girl meets him, the clock is ticking. If she gets too old, in a couple of years, she is gone. If she gets too close, in a couple of years, she is gone. He’s gotten older but his taste has not gotten any older.”

Keep in mind this is just an 'insider' talking about Leo's love life; it's hard to speculate exactly what caused him and Morrone to go to Splitsville.

DiCaprio ditching his girlfriends once they turn 25 has become so regular that people have actually crunched the numbers behind his dating habits.

One of the charts they made tracked the ages of his partners and found that not one of them had stayed with the Hollywood star beyond the age of 25.

Not once throughout his near five decades on this planet.

However, this trend could soon be upended this year.

Leo has been linked with Italian model Vittoria Ceretti for a while and she is, drum roll please, 25 years old.

So, she only needs to stick with the actor until her next birthday for it to be broken.
