High School Musical star shouts 'you dated my son!' after spotting Zendaya and Tom Holland in London

High School Musical star shouts 'you dated my son!' after spotting Zendaya and Tom Holland in London

The HSM actor couldn't believe it when he spotted the Spider-Man actors walking down the street

What happens when High School Musical meets Marvel meets The Greatest Showman? A bloke shouting down the streets of London at two fellow actors, basically.

Bart Johnson played Coach Jack Bolton in the High School Musical movies - a role he's gone back to for the Disney Plus spin-off series starring Olivia Rodrigo - who is the dad of Zac Efron's lead character Troy.

He's currently in London, and seems to be enjoying sharing videos of the area of Richmond to his Instagram citing its Ted Lasso links.

While wandering around the streets, the actor coincidentally spotted Marvel stars and it-couple, Tom Holland and Zendaya.

Showing off his surroundings, Johnson says: “Hey, look where I’m at, I’m in Richmond, you know what Richmond has besides this awesome theatre?”

The ‘awesome’ spot the actor was referring to is literally an Odeon cinema. But it does get a bit cooler.

He adds: “It’s Ted Lasso’s town, Ted Lasso lives here. What a charming little town here, Richmond.”

But things got even more exciting for the 52-year-old as he couldn’t believe who’d just strolled past him.

Johnson continues: “You want to know how small a world it is?

“So guess who was walking on the other side of the street whilst I was making that video right there.

“Zendaya and Tom Holland. Hey guys, hey we’re all in Richmond, isn’t that fun.”

And sure enough, walking a head of Johnson was the real-life Spider-Man and his girlfriend.

Zendaya and Tom were just casually walking down the street.

The Challengers star wears all-black as she puts her arm round Holland, casually walking about, just minding their own business.

He sports a bright pink t-shirt and a baseball cap, as the pair don’t seem to have a clue about the HSM dad filming them - I mean I guess they’re both pretty used to be filmed.

Johnson joked to the camera: “I’ve got to tell Zendaya, hey you dated my son - kind of.”

This was obviously a call back to Efron and Zendaya’s characters in The Greatest Showman.

In the film, she played Anne Wheeler, the love interest of the High School Musical star’s character, Phillip Carlyle.

Holland and Zendaya seem to spend a lot of time at their London home, often spotted picking up shopping from their local Waitrose - so relatable.
