Couple who participated in 18-person orgy aired on Channel 4 say it changed their relationship for the better

The couple claimed the orgy had improved their marriage

A couple who got involved in an 18-person orgy have claimed that the experience changed their relationship for the better.

Tom and Kristy participated on the Channel 4 show Open House: The Great Sex Experiment, which sees numerous couples looking to experiment or broaden their horizons enjoying a wide range of sexual experiences with one other in a mansion.

And this one married couple have claimed that indulging in sex with several other people has helped them 'feel closer and more in love' than before.

Previously, Tom and Kirsty had explored their bisexuality away from each other, but have now decided to give it another go together.

Tom explained: "With our bisexuality, we're happy with where we are at - we'd like to explore the opposite sexes together."

The couple decided to join 16 other residents for a kissing game, in which they were encouraged to kiss the opposite sex in front of each other.

Once they were in the mood, they all headed into a bedroom in which the producers have placed a giant circular bed.

At first, Kristy almost backed out of the orgy entirely, ultimately opting to start off by nervously watching from the sidelines.

But supportive husband Tom stayed by her side until she felt comfortable enough to dip a toe in, so to speak.

Once they headed to the bed, Kristy kissed Tom whilst another woman performed intimate acts with him.

Despite their participation in the bonk fest being somewhat limited, the couple were over the moon with their experience.

Kristy explained: "To be there together in that scenario for me was great," with Tom adding: "Tonight strengthens the relationship."

"We found out a lot about ourselves, we're answered a lot of initial questions we had and we're on the road to non-monogamy," Kirsty explained.

Tom summarised: "We've definitely found a way to be closer and more in love at the same time."

The married couple credit the experience with strengthening their relationship.

Since the show first aired in April last year, couples have been entering the mansion to explore different sides of their libidos.

With an 18-person orgy happening in this year's second series, producers have clearly shown that they are willing to escalate things to a whole other level on the show.

An insider told The Sun: "Bosses have really upped the ante this series. Viewers will definitely see the difference as the upcoming version will be far bolder and push the boundaries further.

"The sheer numbers involved in the orgy is likely to be a TV first."

The show has been branded Channel 4's 'raunchiest show' which is an bold claim, considering that the channel has also aired Naked Attraction.
