Parents. They are on constant edge all the time, knowing there's a danger that their kids could out-smart them.
Sometimes, they try and get one step ahead by going all out to prank their child first. One couple tried to convince their kid he'd poured invisible ink over the carpet. He had, mind you, already done it once.
The kids began to cry and they received a backlash from the public who said they went too far.
It must be quite bad for the older generation, repeatedly questioning anything their offspring do in case it is a wind-up.
One mother was definitely having none of it, as Imgur user velaskin, from Wisconsin, proves. He shared the hilarious text exchange that he had with a stranger after she refused to believe the person on the end of the phone wasn't her daughter.
It all starts with the mum wanting her daughter to pick up some milk, turkey and ham on her way home.
