Eve Betts nervously explained to her date, Jordan, that she'd had alopecia ever since she was three, while removing her wig.

The-22-year-old was influenced to make the decision after Jordan, from south Wales, had told her he used to sport a top-knot.

"This is probably the weirdest date I've ever been on," Eve said after opening up about her condition.

Away from the date, Eve explained how having no hair left her the target of bullies.

"One of the main reasons I wanted to do beauty was because I went through school and I was bullied. I didn't have any eyebrows.

"I don't ever feel upset about it. [But] it's really hard. My parents have to save really hard for me to have nice hair.

"My dad, he works so hard. He drew on my first set of eyebrows. I'd love somebody like my dad - a bit taller, but he's got no hair like me, so somebody with a bit more hair to give our kids a chance."

Twitter got seriously emotional as the show was aired.

Although the two didn't go on a second date, Jordan called her 'unique' and 'beautiful'.

Alopecia affects one in every 100 people in the UK. It causes severe hair loss and patchy baldness.
