Adrien Brody Joins The Cast Of 'Peaky Blinders'

Filming is underway for Peaky Blinders' fourth series and now, the first plot details have been revealed.

It's time to get excited.

Earlier this week, images of Tom Hardy filming on the streets of Liverpool appeared online, confirming that Alfie Solomons would be back on our screens.

Following on from that Deadline has reported that: "Season 4 will kick off when Tommy receives a mysterious letter on Christmas Eve and realizes the Peaky Blinders are in danger of annihilation. As the enemy closes in, he flees his country house and returns to the streets of Small Heath, Birmingham where a desperate fight for survival begins."

There's also going to be a new character played by Oscar-winning Hollywood star Adrien Brody.

Speaking about casting the Predators actor, Steven Knight said: "He genuinely was the actor in my head when I wrote the part. I'm sure he will be a formidable presence in the world of the Peaky Blinders."

For now all details about the character are strictly under wraps but we're sure it's only a matter of time before another announcement is made.

Knight also added that this series is 'the best yet'.

I can't bloody wait.
