The brilliant Rick and Morty aired its third season back in October and since then we've been told it could be a long wait until we get to see a fourth.
However, Adult Swim have a bit of a treat for those of us who are missing the show - a new music video from Run the Jewels' song 'Oh Mama' featuring nonother than the dynamic duo.

The video is directed by Rick and Morty director Juan Meza-León and plays like a little mini-episode. Adult Swim is using the new animation to promote its first Adult Swim Festival, which is due to take place in California on 6 and 7 October - Run the Jewels will be a headlining act.
One of the show's writers Ryan Ridley told the Detroit Cast in January this year that no one is working on the script for the fourth season yet, as far as he knows.

"They really take their time," Ridley said. "I never understood why everybody - all parties, Dan, Justin, and Adult Swim - didn't get their shit together, and make the show fast; I just don't get it. It doesn't make any sense to me. I'm sure they all have their reasons."
A fourth season of the show is yet to be ordered by the network, co-creator Dan Harmon confirmed on Twitter in response to an arsey fan demanding new episodes.
Adult Swim is yet to confirm a fourth season of the show, telling Variety earlier this year that there is 'no timing to share on premiere or status of production' at this time.

Ridley also pointed out that the script for the third season
was finished in November 2016, but that the show didn't come back to Adult Swim
for another eight months, so even once it is done and dusted it doesn't
necessarily mean we'll be seeing it on screens any time soon.
So, it looks like we're in for a bit of wait. Still, until then there's always re-runs, right?
