Gary, the beloved dog of Star Wars actress Carrie Fisher, attended a screening for The Last Jedi and is said to have shown that he still misses his owner very much.

Fisher, who died last year after a heart attack, appears in the latest instalment from the Star Wars universe and her former assistant brought the cute little pooch along to see it on the big screen.

According to journalist Veronica Miracle, little Gary was very excited to see the star. She wrote on Twitter: "The late Carrie Fisher's dog Gary just watched The Last Jedi! He sat on Fisher's former assistant's lap during the film. She said his ears perked up every time she was on screen."

How cute is that?

Look at him in his little outfit. This is too much.

Gary, who now lives with Fisher's former assistant Corby McCoin, is a celebrity in his own right, after attending interviews and movie premieres with the late actress.

The French bulldog even made a cameo appearance in The Last Jedi and his Instagram page has 166,000 followers and is a collection of some of the most adorable photos ever taken.

Also, since Fisher's death it is full of posts that will definitely make you cry, like the one about him watching the trailer for The Last Jedi with the caption: "Just watched the new trailer of The Last Jedi and my mom looks more beautiful than ever."

And the heartbreaking hashtag 'garymisseshismom'.

Aw, I'm welling up here.
