The latest trailer for Avengers: Infinity War is here and it doesn't look like good news for Captain America.

The film will see the villainous Thanos (played by Josh Brolin) attempting to take out the Avengers so he can wipe out part of the universe. No biggie.

The newest trailer shows Gamora (played by Zoe Saldana) telling Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr): "The entire time I knew him, he only ever had one goal: to wipe out half the universe. If he gets all the Infinity Stones, he can do it with the snap of his fingers."

The new trailer certainly promises plenty of action, not least because we can see Captain America going head-to-head with the absolutely massive Thanos - without so much as a vibranium helmet to protect him.

On Twitter fans are starting to get a little bit worried for the Cap's safety:

Infinity War is set to be one of the biggest films ever made by Marvel, with the film's creators saying it will feature almost every single superhero from the Marvel Cinematic Universe's 18-film, 10-year history - which in itself is almost a feat worthy of a superhero.

Among the heroes (and actors) set to make a return, we'll see Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man; Chadwick Boseman's Black Panther; Chris Evans' Captain America; Ant Man, played by Paul Rudd and Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange.

Fans of the popular franchise don't have too long to wait for the new film's release and it was recently announced it would be moving the movie's release forward by one week - meaning it's out on the 17 April.

However, in a similar way to the final Harry Potter movie, Avengers: Infinity War is actually split into two parts - with the second installment due to be screened on 3 May 2019.

People are predicting big things from this movie, with early Box Office predictions forecasting a whopping $200-235 million (£143-168m) will be made in the opening weekend in North America alone. Well, that's good news considering the amount of talent they've had to fork out for.
