A lot can happen when you've been watching a TV show for six seasons. Even a single episode can squeeze in a lot of drama.

If you're up to date on the series and eagerly awaiting tomorrow's new season, then you wouldn't be alone if you forgot some of the big moments that have happened so far.

But luckily for everyone, HBO has decided to release a tantalising summary of the gore, the battles, and the 'omg' moments.

WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD

But if you're still struggling to remember what happened even last season, don't worry, we've got you covered.

Jon Snow was brought back to life by Melisandre after being backstabbed in a mutiny at the Wall. He then reunited with Sansa Stark to fight Ramsay Bolton, who gets even more fiendish when he kills Roose, Walda Bolton and his new-born half-brother so that he can rule the North. But after a huge battle between the Bolton and Stark forces, Jon is victorious and Sansa feeds Ramsay to his own hounds.

We finally got to know why Hodor could only say Hodor, and that's because Bran looked into his past and rendered him mentally disabled. But then the loveable character is killed by the White Walkers along with the Three-Eyed Raven and several children. Bran reveals that Jon Snow is not Ned Stark's bastard, but the child of Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen.

Ayra finally gets her eyesight back and wins in a battle against the Waif after she was ordered to kill her because Ayra refused to carry out a mission. The youngster returns to Westeros and uses her new face swapping powers to murder Walder Frey and his sons.

We said goodbye to the High Sparrow, Margaery, Mace and Loras Tyrell, Lancel and Kevan Lannister, and hundreds of King's Landing nobles and the Faith Militant when Cersei blows up the Sept Baelor with wildfire.

Daenerys was captured by Khal Moro, but ends up burning them alive and she ends up taking control of the Dothraki. She unleashes her dragons during a battle against the slavers and joins forces with Yara and Theon Greyjoy, before we see her sailing a huge fleet of ships towards Westeros.

Hopefully that catches you up ahead of the new season.
