It's safe to say that when the Harry Potter series all came to an end, fans across the world were left with a huge void in their lives. But people who were desperate to keep the magic of Hogwarts alive were thrown a bone with the Fantastic Beasts series.
Author J.K Rowling conjured up a prequel franchise that was well before Harry, Ron and Hermione got on the train at Platform 9 ¾. Many were pretty fucking thrilled to see their favourite spells being thrown across a room again with some pretty intense magic making up the final few scenes.
But now everyone wants to see where protagonist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) heads in the sequel...to the prequel.

Those thirsty for any information on Fantastic Beasts 2: The Crimes of Grindelwald have been provided a few select photos on set, with actors Johnny Depp, Jude Law and the rest of the cast dressed in their incredible outfits:

A teaser clip for the next Fantastic Beasts sequel dropped in November, and, just as anyone would expect, it looks pretty fucking magical.

The official Twitter account for Fantastic Beasts posted the exciting news on its feed, captioning the clip: "In one year, return to the Wizarding World with Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald #MagicInProgress#FantasticBeasts."
Fans obviously went wild for the clip, and praised the teaser on social media.
"Wow! I did NOT expect that to be the name for Fantastic Beasts 2. I love it," said one Fantastic Beasts fans.

A second added: "This just made my entire week."
"I'm so happy I could cry!! Oh wait," said a third.
A final fan replied: "CRYING WITH EXCITEMENT."
Eddie and Johnny will reprise their roles from the first films, whereas Jude Law will become a young Professor Albus Dumbledore - which sounds pretty awesome. The next film is still a full year away, however fans have been analysing another tweet which showed two wands side by side.
A person responded to the tweet with: "If my memory serves me right, the Elder Wand at this point of time would probably belong to Grindelwald, right? So the wand on the right must be Dumbledore's old wand?"

This would make sense, as we know that the franchise is heading to a showdown between Grindelwarld and Dumbledore back in 1945. There have been some epic duels in the Fantastic Beasts and Harry Potter franchises, but a fight between those two would be as good as it gets.
