Bishop Michael Curry - yup, the dude that blew us all away with his address at Harry and Meghan's wedding - returned to British TV screens this evening, especially for the final of Britain's Got Talent:

You'll remember that Curry's rousing speech was one of the biggest highlights from the recent royal wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Forget the dress, the cake, and the celebrity guests - it was Curry who absolutely stole the show, blowing the roof off of St George's Chapel in Windsor to single-handedly prove that not all posh people have boring, stuffy weddings.

It wasn't just the content of what he was saying that took everyone's breath away, he also provided some great spectacle with his energetic delivery.

Because of that, he was even roped in for the final of Britain's Got Talent tonight - because now that we've seen him in action there really wasn't anyone more suited for the job, was there?

In the video made especially for the show's finale, Curry said: "Hello Britain's Got Talent. It is a joy to bring you these greetings, to all of the contestants, to the judges, to the audience, to all who make this possible.

"Thank you for what you are doing, thank you to the contestants who offer yourselves and share your talent and your gifts with the rest of us, you actually help to bring some joy and happiness.

"So, thank you, God bless you, God keep you and may God hold us all in those almighty hands of love."

What a guy.

In his moving 14-minute address at Harry and Meghan's big day, Curry started with a quote from Martin Luther King Jr, telling the congregation: "We must discover the power of love, the power, the redemptive power of love. And when we discover that we will be able to make of this old world a new world."

He continued: "Think and imagine a world where love is the way."

"Imagine our homes and families where love is the way. Imagine neighbourhoods and communities where love is the way.

"Imagine governments and nations where love is the way. Imagine business and commerce where this love is the way.

"Imagine this tired old world where love is the way. When love is the way - unselfish, sacrificial, redemptive.

"When love is the way, then no child will go to bed hungry in this world ever again.

"When love is the way, we will let justice roll down like a mighty stream and righteousness like an ever-flowing brook.

"When love is the way, poverty will become history. When love is the way, the earth will be a sanctuary.

"When love is the way, we will lay down our swords and shields, down by the riverside, to study war no more.

"When love is the way, there's plenty good room - plenty good room - for all of God's children.

"Because when love is the way, we actually treat each other, well... like we are actually family.

"When love is the way, we know that God is the source of us all, and we are brothers and sisters, children of God.

"My brothers and sisters, that's a new heaven, a new earth, a new world, a new human family.

"And let me tell you something, old Solomon was right in the Old Testament: that's fire."

Mic drop.
