A new Channel 4 documentary explores the official confession tapes of what could be America's most prolific serial killer.
Confessions of a Serial Killer, which will air on Monday night, looks at the story of Samuel Little, who is currently serving life sentences for three murders after he said he had killed at least 90 people over four decades in the US.

Suspected of being the worst serial killer in American history, he is now helping police to solve his appalling crimes.
Little, who is now 78, claims to have murdered the women over 40 years, and the FBI has stated it believes he definitely committed at least half of them.
Although the investigation is ongoing, if it's true, it will mean Little would be worse than Ted Bundy who is often named as the country's most prolific killer.
In the confession, taped by police, he said: "I try to trace back to when I became attracted to a woman's throat."

He also laughs: "A lot of these women have a death wish. Yeah they want to die. I love all of them."
The documentary, directed by film maker Benjamin Zand, will be the first time his confession tapes have been heard.
When asked about his 'favourite' kill, he chillingly says: "I can't pick a favourite, when they die, they're all favourites. They all belong to you. I'll see you in hell."

Giving a clue to how he got away with such crimes, for so long, he explains: "I didn't take chances. I didn't have nobody with me and I pick on motherfuckers that wouldn't be missed. That's why I didn't get busted a long time ago.
"I didn't waste no time digging bodies. I got so crazy I wanted more. That's a curse that I have got."
Detectives believe he killed in several states across the country, preying on 'marginalised and vulnerable women'. Many of them were prostitutes, with some of the bodies never being identified.
Little had an extensive criminal record and was arrested over 100 times. His crimes, other than murder, include armed robbery and rape.

He wasn't convicted of murder until 2012, when he was arrested for possessing drugs in Kentucky.
Little pleaded not guilty at trial, meaning the families of the murdered women had to hear the extent of his killings, but he was eventually convicted and given three consecutive life sentences.
Confessions of a Serial Killer will be shown Channel 4 on Monday night at 9pm.
